Senior Software Engineer/Architect

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Architect to lead digital transformation initiatives for a growing energy solutions company. This role will design scalable architecture for proprietary software platforms, integrate AI/ML solutions, and guide technical strategy — all while mentoring a talented, bilingual development team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable, secure software architecture for internal software suite
  • Lead AI/ML projects for predictive maintenance, document processing, and more
  • Administer AWS, Snowflake, and Bitbucket platforms
  • Support SOX compliance in financial and operational reporting
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, design, and operations teams
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive proof-of-concept projects

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience (5+ in senior or architectural roles)
  • Strong AWS experience (Kafka, Kubernetes, NoSQL, RDS, Elasticsearch, Lambda, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Java and Apache Camel; React Native, Python, or C++ a plus
  • Experience with Snowflake administration
  • AI/ML project leadership experience in production environments
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance processes
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Spanish fluency preferred
  • AWS certifications preferred
