Senior Litigation Attorney

We’re partnering with a well-established Houston-based law firm to find a sharp Senior Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience in commercial litigation. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity designed for an attorney ready to take on meaningful responsibilities across all stages of litigation, from pre-trial strategy through resolution. This firm is known for handling complex legal matters in business litigation, health law, OSHA defense, and regulatory disputes, representing clients ranging from startups to publicly traded companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse litigation caseload, including commercial disputes and regulatory hearings
• Draft pleadings, motions (including dispositive motions), and legal memoranda
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests; manage document review
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and administrative proceedings
• Participate in high-stakes matters before state and federal agencies such as OSHA and the Texas Medical Board

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school and active membership in the Texas State Bar
• 5+ years of litigation experience, including first or second-chair roles in hearings or trials
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Experience managing TROs, injunctions, and evidentiary hearings
• Comfortable practicing in both state and federal courtrooms
• Proven ability to handle multiple complex matters with a high degree of professionalism
