Senior Accountant

Our Oil & Gas client in West Houston is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and lead full cycle accounting for manufacturing, asset accounting, and inventory management. Primary responsibilities include:

• Assist with month-end closing, reconciliations, and oversee Accounts Payable processing
• Cost recognition and analysis
• Prepare recurring analyses and reports with supporting variance explanations
• Assist with cash flow forecasting for assets and inventory
• Coordinate audit requests with external auditors, internal auditors, and other auditors as necessary
• Collaborate on process improvements and automation enhancements

Accounting degree required with at least 5 years of experience, including 2+ years in the manufacturing industry. Prior working knowledge with inventory accounting and fixed assets, public company understanding, and GAAP expertise.
