IT Applications Support Specialist
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Applications Support Specialist to provide end user support in a manufacturing environment. Primary responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with business and IT vendors to provide solutions
- Follow Incident and Change management procedures
- Monitor and support information exchanges between applications
- Identify cybersecurity requirements needed to support applications
- Document existing business applications and related business processes
- Support business reporting requirements
- Provide Application Maintenance related services
- Support user training needs
- Drive business continuity and increase end-user satisfaction
- Serve as internal project manager to assist business needs assessments, scope definitions, user requirements, testing, and training
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field
- 10+ years of professional Applications support experience
- Chemical manufacturing industry experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Understanding of IT including databases, programming languages, interfaces, PCs, servers, and network.
- Experience in MS Azure, Sharepoint, SAP preferred
