Information Technology Support Specialist

Our Greenway Plaza area client is seeking an IT Support Tech to provide local Tier 1 computer hardware/software support for their office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Tier 1 initial support responsible for solving basic user issues and technical problems.
  • Set up new users’ workstations with a standardized method and software.
  • Maintain Microsoft systems and applications.
  • Troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and connectivity issues.
  • Adding workstations, projectors, and video conferencing.
  • Ddding/terminating users, assigning rights and access, resetting passwords.
  • Establishing email addresses, assessing and reporting operational status.
  • Performing backups and restores.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates of hardware & software.
  • Maintain malware/virus compliance, manage inventory; ensure compliance software licenses, and update software versions.



  • Self-sufficient, able to work independently without supervision.
  • 1-3 years related technical support experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field preferred.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
