Financial Controller

Our technology client, located in West Houston, is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee the accounting and financial management activities within the Americas Region with support from the Corporate Finance group. As the Controller, you will provide strategic financial input and leadership on key decisions impacting the organization. Primary responsibilities include:

• Provide oversight for the regional accounts payable, credit control, payroll, treasury, month end close, yearend close and tax & audit
• Responsible for the completion of Regional financial forecasts
• Financial analysis and reporting relating to regional financial performance and forecast
• Responsible order and sales forecasting process
• Contribute to the Bid & Contract review process including financial inputs for tenders and bid reviews
• Responsible for the provision of financing solution or options
• Responsible for the financial deliverables for projects including proper invoicing, sales tax, and project cost control
• Prepare project financial forecast
• Monitor and ensure effective internal controls
• Establish and monitor KPIs

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, be CPA certified, and have a minimum of 7 years’ experience. Prior working experience with US tax compliance is required. You must possess strong leadership skills to manage staff and have advanced technical experience.
