Administrative Assistant

Our Financial Services client in Downtown Houston is seeking a strong, driven individual to provide Administrative support to their entire team. The successful candidate should possess exceptional organization, prioritization, tracking, and scheduling skills. A task-oriented person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys handling multiple tasks will excel in this role.

The requirements for this position are as follows:

  • Coordination with cross-functional teams for conference calls and meetings
  • Schedule and manage calendars for supported professionals by scheduling and coordinating meetings via Outlook
  • Arrange complex domestic and international travel, with transportation, lodging and entertainment, as well as detailed itineraries
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls as requested by supported professionals
  • Provide backup telephone support for other Administrative Assistants
  • Prepare and submit monthly expenses through and monitor corporate card payments
  • Manage client contacts, files, and update data as needed
  • Assist other Administrative Assistants

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a banking environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
  • Possess excellent organizational and efficiency skills
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with a willingness to tackle any task with deadlines
  • Good judgment and discretion regarding sensitive and/or confidential information
  • Skill in prioritizing, identifying and resolving conflicts
  • Professional, friendly, positive attitude, and team player
  • Possess a collaborative mindset
